Extended Furlough November 2020 - Rollout Plans
10 November: The extension of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) was announced less than two weeks ago and details of how it will be implemented are beginning to emerge.
On 5 November, the Chancellor announced that the CJRS would be extended until the end of March 2021 for all parts of the UK. Employers are now desperate to know the details as employees hope this will be enough to secure their jobs.
Claims from 1 November 2020 must be submitted by 11.59 pm 14 calendar days after the month you’re claiming for. If this time falls on the weekend, then claims should be submitted on the next working day.

Deadlines
You must complete your claim within seven days of starting it. All claims for periods from 1 July 2020 to 31 October 2020 must be submitted no later than 30 November 2020.
